Joseph Ngweyna was a crucial player in the Houston Dynamo's ability to win the MLS Cup last season, between his speed and goal scoring abilities he managed to help the Dynamo stay in the hunt at times that all other factors weighed against them. Following the end of 2007 season, Ngweyna made the move to Austria, but has seen very limited playing time. The season there is over and so is his contract.
In light of the Dynamo's recent scoring woes, the return of Ngweyna would be much welcomed by the Dynamo, who are in need of the offense he provided last season.
